Section Introduction

In this section, we will learn the basic fundamental concepts of the Web that every web developer must know.

• First of all, we will learn the Client Server Architecture where we will learn what the client and the server are and how they communicate with each other.

• Then, we will learn about HTTP protocol which is a foundational concept that you should know to understand the communication between client and server.

• After that, we will figure out what happens when we type a URL in the browser. After learning this, you will be able to summarize how the browser communicates with the server to fetch the resource and render it on the screen.

• At the end of this section, you will be required to take a quiz that tests the knowledge which you have learned in this section.
